Decoy-receptor
En inaktiv receptor, der konkurrerer med en funktionel receptor vedrørende binding af en ligand. Hvis mange ligander binder sig til decoy-receptoren, mindske aktiviteten af den funktionelle receptor. Dette "afledningsprincip" bruges i flere biologiske lægemidler, herunder Enbrel.
